After eloping the year prior on a private beach in Melbourne, FL., my husband and I knew we still wanted to share the joy of “walking down the aisle” and celebrating with our closest family and friends. Mexico being our favorite destination and the place where Romell proposed, it was only natural to bring everyone we love to Tulum for a weekend of love, laughter, and adventure.

With 33 guests, we curated a wedding experience that was both intimate and unforgettable. I personally planned every detail, alongside the venue’s coordinator and my husband, to create a seamless blend of celebration and relaxation. From a lively poolside welcome party to a resort-style rehearsal dinner boasting traditional Mexican cuisine, the weekend reflected who we are as a couple — laid-back, joyful, and deeply connected to the place that feels like home away from home.

The result was a heartfelt celebration where every guest felt part of our story, and every moment carried the warmth of Mexico’s beauty and culture.

This experience was more than just our wedding; it was the beginning of my passion for wedding design. Seeing my vision come to life and creating an atmosphere where our loved ones could connect so deeply sparked something in me. It’s why I now offer planning and design services to clients: to help bring their unique love stories to life with the same intentionality.
